The Clara Hutton Sports and Education Scholarship will be awarded to a student and BRA ringette player who demonstrates remarkable talent, sportsmanship and ability, but also shows an effort to benefit our community and society. The scholarship will be granted for the purpose of attending a skill development program or sports camp program.
Criteria:
Written letter of application deadline: The last Monday of March of every Ringette season.
Selection Committee will be made up of the following:
If no volunteers are available, 2 additional Beaumont Ringette Association Directors will be selected that are not applying for the scholarship.
The scholarship must be used within 2 summers of winning the Award, is not transferable and can be won only once.
If this scholarship is used for education purposes, it must be used towards post secondary education such as a college, university, technical or equivalent educational institute.
The Selection Committee will administer to each recipient up to a maximum amount of $500.00.

Beaumont Ringette Association reserves the right to disallow any granting of scholarships in any given year and further reserves the right to grant scholarships to any number of applicants in any given year.
Funds will be held by the Beaumont Ringette Association until proof of requirement is received in writing.
